Few studies discuss the simultaneous interaction between the individual, family, and social contexts, and their contributions to the process of resilience. The majority of studies retrieved were international, empirical, cross-sectional, and quantitative, with a focus on individual resilience. Three main dimensions of resilience appear to be studied in the literature: individual, family, and community-based. After the applications of inclusion and exclusion criteria, the final sample consisted of 39 articles. The SciELO, PePSIC, LILACS, Index Psi, PsycINFO, and PubMed databases were searched for articles published up to and including the year 2015. The aim of this article was to perform an integrative review of the literature on resilience in LGB populations so as to identify and describe the main conceptual dimensions studied. Growing attention has been paid to the process of resilience in lesbian, gay, and bisexual (LGB) individuals. Studies on the sexuality and sexual diversity, and gender diversity subjects in the schoolĮnvironment, in order to draw overviews on the BNCC unfolding in schools. In view of this scenario, it is noticeable that there is a need for further Sexuality with concepts related to health and quality of life, restricted to the eighth grade Sciences, being absent in other areas of knowledge. The BNCC, there is a regression to what was proposed by the PCNs, since sexuality isįound in the section of Natural Sciences, more precisely in the curricular component School then starts to integrate, together and complementary to theįamily, the education offered to children and adolescents. Sexual Orientation contained in PCN’s volume ten proposes questions that should not beĪddressed only in Science classes, but promote debates in all areas of knowledge, as aĬross-cutting subject.
